My 95 9C1 has been making a noise that indicates some front end wear. If I turn the wheel all the way to either side and give it a little gas it will "pop" a few times. Does this in reverse or drive. What am I hearing?
Most likely your lower ball joints. Look at the grease fittings. If the flat part of the fitting is flush or inside the casing, it's time to replace them.

So do you take it GM or an aftermarket mechanic? Who will charge more? Thanx

From your description, it sounds to me like it could be the studs where your front sway bar is attached to the lower control arms. If so, it's an easy fix. - Jim
