i've had these PST polygraphite front LCA bushings laying around for the past 6 months because i haven't had the time or motivation to disasemble the suspension. my question is:
is there a way to put the bushings in WITHOUT too much trouble? i've thought about undoing the LCA to frame bolts and lowering the arm enough to scoop out the rotten remains of the old ones and push in the new ones. is this possible? thanks.

Moby,

Not likely it will be that simple. The bushings are pressed in with some degree of interference fit, so they don't just slide out. And, considering where your car has lived, you will find the enviornment has made removal of the stock bushings even more of a challenge.

You will need either special bushing removal and installation tools, or you will need to remove the arms and take them to a press--or pay someone else to do it for you.
