1994 DCM (Dark Cherry Metallic) Chevrolet Caprice Classic

I purchased this 1994 Chevrolet Caprice in early 2003 with 112254 miles. The car is as similar to a real Caprice SS (Export) of the era, minus the rear spoiler. The vehicle is prewired with coaxial and other wiring for police use. Two antennas were once in the vehicle's trunk lid and are plugged with stoppers, however there is no indication it was purchased or used in a police fleet. (see Vehicle History Report)

Around mile 133,000, the engine threw a rod and I had it, and the 4L60E transmission rebuilt. It is now a 383 stroker. Quality parts were used however the engine rear main seal leaks oil and needs fixed. I'm selling the vehicle because I have limited time to work on it. This is a non-smoking vehicle, ashtrays never used. Backseat and passenger seat was rarely sat in. The car in street form ran a low 13 on 93 octane gas. With the included drag radials and a reprogram it should be a 12 second car.

The vehicle features the following options:

Cloth front and Rear Seats
Power Windows
Power Driver Seat
Power Passenger Seat
Power Door Locks
Cruise Control
Dual Air bags
255/50 ZR17 BFGoodrich G-Force T/A tires mounted on Impala SS wheels @ 136,125 miles. Lifetime Warranty is transferable to new owner. (Discount Tire)
Air Conditioning (new compressor installed 2010, needs charged)
Power Steering
Tilt Wheel
Drum Rear Brakes, Disc Front Brakes
Original Floormats
Electro chromatic Rearview Mirror

The Caprice SS features the following visual mods:

I always had a soft spot for the 94's

Thanks for your interest. Of course, I'd rather see this go to an enthusiast before Ebay.
I really did not know what its worth with the rear main leak.
That said there is a lot of money in parts alone that it would be a real nice parts car if someone didn't want to fuss with the engine. I've probably got $15,000 in parts and labor in it on top of the cost of the car. If I could get somewhere close to 8k for it I'd pull it off the auction block.

Good luck with the sale, a very nice car indeed. I am a little curious about the headlights though, is that stock or after market?
