My super clean 95 9c1 is up for sale. If you want original, then I have what you may be looking for. Here's her biography....

This 1995 Caprice 9c1was purchased from Burt Chevrolet in Englewood, Colorado on August 17, 1995 with only 11 miles showing. Within days she was transformed into a marked patrol car for the Loveland Police Department. This car would spend it's life known as unit #3767.

Unit #3767 was religiously maintained with the service records from Loveland PD to prove it. In July of 2006 Unit #3767 had a dead battery, a burned out head light and a leaky intake manifold gasket. The decision was made to part ways with only 80k clicks showing on the odometer. Unit #3767 was stripped of her badging and sent to auction.

Unit #3767 was sold at a public auction on September 1, 2006 to Sean @ Top Gear Motorsports located in Phoenix, Arizona. Within days unit #3767 was repaired and sold to me. I had a teenage son who I thought would appreciate this retired police car. Unfortunately, unit #3676 aka 'Burt' did not win the affection of my son and he never even drove it. I put 2,000 miles on Burt since September 2006 and due to a new project the time has come to part ways.

Burt now has the new radiator, new brakes, a powder coated rear differential with a 3.42 Detroit TruTrac set of gears and freshly packed wheel bearings up front. 'Burt' needs a good home. She's virtually unmolested, and won't disappoint.

I did a little research on Burt...build date of 95-06-19...came from the factory as a special paint order (01L and 01U) AS7 split front bench seat, K34 Cruise Control, dual spot lamps 7X9. There are only 13 other 9C1's identical to Burt from a SPID perspective.

There is a crack in the dash as well as a spot on the trunk where the paint has chipped. The paint and body aren't perfect but I doubt you will find a cleaner 9c1 any where. The car is in overall great condition considering the age and the fact that it is a used in service police vehicle. Mileage is 82590. The following things have been done to this car:

New intake manifold gasket
New Detroit TruTrac 3.42 rear differential gears and axel bearings, powder coated rear differential carrier with new rubber bushings on carrier.
New radiator
New brakes

Burt doesn't leak and is in near perfect mechanical condition. Everything in the car works, spotlight (right spotlight just needs a bulb), windows, locks, cold a/c, everything. This car is quite the sleeper. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you.

Burt comes with a manila folder w/over 3/4 inch of service records detailing every time she was serviced. The City of Loveland even did oil analysis on this vehicle twice to ensure the vehicle wasn't suffering from excessive wear. I have a picture of the inside of the engine when the intake was off. The inside still looks BRAND NEW inside.

This rolling history won't disappoint you. Supply for low mileage unmolested police cars is low and demand does not seem to be waning. Burt is definitely more beautiful than the pictures depict. I have a spare LT1 engine with 102,396 miles on her that I'll include with this sale. I only pulled the engine out to install a stroker engine from another car.

Additionally, I have a cloth blue back seat that I will include with this sale as well. Chuck in Arizona, 623.261.2735 or [email protected]

Speaking of Canada, I bought a frame for my next project.....a 1957 Chevy, from a guy in Canada. In the next few weeks, a truck will be transporting the frame down to me in Arizona. If someone in Canada buys it I can ship it. Paperwork to get it into Canada is less than $100 bucks through a broker. So..........I'm open to selling this in Canada too.
