i will b picking up a brand new 383 stroker making around 500hp at the crank. i also plan on puting at the most a 150 dry shot on the car. would 42lbs injectors be able to support the motor alone and the motor on nitrous? and would a single Walbro 255 intake pump deliver enough fuel?

thankss alot,
greg

With a dry kit the size rating of the injector doesn't matter much it just needs to be able to handle the pressure the nitrous system will hit it with to add the extra fuel. Injectors are rated at a certain pressure, dry kits greatly increase fuel pressure to make the injector act bigger and spray more fuel.

The exeption to this would be aftermarket fuel injection that can handle nitrous enrichment through longer pulse widths, but I think it a safe guess you are not going that way.

42lbs. is plenty for a not wild stroker like that just make sure they can handle a whole lot more than the 43.5psi our fuel system theoretically runs at.
