What are you higher horsepower people running for a fuel system?
Any symtoms you got before you upgraded that told you you needed more fuel?
What pump/filter are you using?
How about fuel rails?
Thanks,
Phil

The stock fuel rails can handle quite a bit. I have the back of mine drilled out with 8an fittings on the back of each rail, no crossover, just a fitting of the top/front of each rail leading into the regulator.

Using an Aeromotive "Eliminator" pump, Aeromtive filter.

What do your plugs look like?
What are your o2 readings with the datamaster?

Hay DIMPALA,
The plugs are medium to dark brown.
The O2's are in the low to mid 800's average.
MAF maxed I believe 103.7

Hehehehehe......How about seeing 0 psi on the fuel pressure gage while using a 200 shot of Nitrous???? That sure told me I better do something quick!

1) Aeromotive in-line pump, which I measured to flow 96gals/hr at 43psi
2) 20 gallon aluminum fuel cell
3) -10AN line from cell to Aeromotive 1200lb/her filter
4) -10AN line from filter to pump
5) -8AN line from pump to Y-block in engine bay
6) -6AN line from Y-Block to fuel rails
7) -8AN line from Y-Block to Nitrous system
8) Holley billet adjustable regulator
9) stock return lines going through a 24" double tube cooler under trunk back to fuel cell.
10) Autometer fuel pressure gage in pod on hood, right in my line of sight.

I have now been running a 200 shot over 2 years on my stock bottom end with NO problems. The answer to any motor question is fuel, fuel, and more fuel.......

Here is a pic of stock pump next to the Aeromotive, more pictures on my website:

Hey Seth.... do you have any pics of your setup? Sound's like what I was considering... but I was afraid to drill the fuel rails.

Well your not running lean,I think your maf readings are off,103.7 is not a maxed maf it's something like 510 gr/sec is max.
Do you have another maf you can try?if not I have one you can borrow.

DIMPALA,
My MAF is measured in KPA on the scanner.
I heard 104 KPA is max.
It varies under a lite load, But the second I floor it, it goes right to 103.7 and dosent move.
Id also like to see pics of Seth's or anybody's modded fuel rails.
Dose anybody sell aftermarket rails for larger lines?

Holley but you have to trim them to fit your car.

Phil,

What you are reading on your scanner in kpa is not the MAF. You are reading the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) which is a pressure not a mass of air. That is why your max is 103 kpa at wide open because you have no vacuum at that point.
