Hi Guys. I have a 1996 Impala SS.
I have a 396 motor and it has sat for awhile.
I have the LTCC coil on cylinder ignition and I am wondering is there a fuse in the PCM I can pull that will let me crank engine to get pressure but not start the car.
I appreciate any help you can give me.

Hi 95 wagon. Thanks for the response. Do you have a pic of that location you mentioned.
I appreciate the help.

Couldn't you just pull the fuel pump or injector fuse - or both?

Hi SSQATCH. I wasn't sure that's why I posted the question.
Where is the fuse for the fuel pump.
I was just concerned because I have the LTCC and didn't know how that would affect anything else.
If you don't mind where is the fuel pump fuse located.
Thank you.

Tom, my thinking was , if he has an LTCC , a done up engine and does not know where the fuses are , there could be other things done on his car he is not aware of.

Kind of like your car or mine.
Asking on the forum what works with ours would be pointless.
Just thought unplugging his opti harness would be a a 100% way to kill ign.

Yes , fuel pump and or ign fuse SHOULD be all it takes but I have no idea what other things might be done to his car.

Hey guys. I can do the fuse. I just didn't want to kill power to something else the car needed to start.
