Get to ISSCA Nats early and race TWICE while support LISST charities!

We are having the LISST 8th Annual Drag Day on SATURDAY JULY 9th at Englishtown, Raceway Park.

What this means is that anyone coming to town for the ISSCA Nationals the week of July 11-15 should cruise in early that Saturday July 9 and race with us too! Two races in 4 days, it doesn't get any better than that! You can spend Sunday in the lovely Pocono's or sight-seeing in NYC getting ready for MOUNTAIN MADNESS!

Plus, anyone who was disappointed that the ISSCA Nats drag race was moved from E-Town to Island Dragway can now do BOTH and get to race at the legendary E-Town after all!

LISST is proud to sponsor this day as well as raise money for charities. Last year LISST raised $1000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and $1000 for Friends of Karen and also donated $500 to the Don Ishmael fund.

So again, what could be better than that? Race on Saturday and then again on Tuesday night! YEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

If you guys add another event on the Friday before, you'd have a whole week of ISSCA stuff going on!
Luckily, I'll be on vacation during that period so I "shouldn't" have a problem showing up for at least some of the festivities.
It's been a while since I've seen any of you guys so I'm looking forward to it.

Unfortunately, I'm actually cuttin back a lil this year, BK. Being a lil more selective and also spendin more time at home this year. Don't know when my first ECIRS race will be yet! Looks like it may be MIR if I'm not racing in Quebec after a trade show that weekend.

Englishtown is easy since I have to report for work at Mountain MadneSS that Sunday morning.

hey guys, what's the nitrous refill situation up there. i'm trying to get to the nat.s but i'll be coming off a couple of weeks in florida right before. plus host hotel is sold out on that weekend. i don't want to end up with an empty tank. also what's the distance betwwen e-town and the nat.s and e-town and nyc? i keep telling the wife we will see spamalot. thanks for the info.

E-Town is about 1+ hours from the Pocono's, maybe less if you drive like a LISST member. E-Town is also about 30 mins from NYC. The Pocono's are about 1.5 hours from NYC. Try and make it. Not sure about the nitrous situation, but I am sure Bry and Roz and Karl and Nab and the rest of the crew will arrange for something.

No need to sign up for LISST Drag Day. We never 'officially' have pre-registration, but I will start a thread in mid to late June to see who is in. We have been averaging over 90 cars the past few years, so maybe with the early arrivals for ISSCA we can push it over 100!

I will be there for it all, ETown and the whole Mountain MadneSS.
If there is something I can do to help at any of the MM events let me know. I am going to enter into all the events even thou my Impala is well used and beaten every weekend. Hay what the hell, it will be fun.

My better half does not have any interest so I have time (lots of time) and willing to help.

Note to Jeff Sanford,

Your tires will be at ETown waiting for you and I want to see that sweet ImpalaSS turbo V6 run the numbers!!!

We'll try our best to be there BK, doesnt look like we're going to have our new setup done on my "BLOWZILLA" car, so "TURBOZILLA" looks like she wont be making the nats

Now who's going to McDonalds @ 1 am, and expecting not to get a shake! Man I was more pissed off than.......LOL

They were just glad we didnt smokem' out down the drive thru isle like last time that machine broke! Easy on the jelly rings, like the fudge ice cream....only reason we needed more was cause ya ate it all!!!
