Image Dynamics OEM from hessdawg at DIYMA.com has great midbass and takes a ton of power. They are also very affordable.

CDT M6 midbasses also take a ton of power and have great midbass.

Dynaudio MW162 is also a good choice.

Old Ascendant Audio poly mids also have good midbass if you can find them. (Hint I have 3 sets)

There are quite a few to choose from.

FWIW I've heard the OEM ID speakers he is talking about. I've heard them in his car, adn they sound GREAT. I may be getting a pair soon.

I have them I love my Poly Mids, they are like mini subs (basically they are)

Hard to find now.

Next suggestion

I wouldnt hesitate to buy, I have Mach 5 MJM 18s 140.07 db @ 30hz with 800 rms. (ps the subs cost $140 ea shipped back when I bought mine, price has gone up do to VC changes)

IB is the way to go with them. Door needs to be deadened.
