The grille is held in place by 7 screws. I don't know the name for this type of screwface, but it looks like an asterisk. A screwdriver with this asterisk-face and 5 minutes of your time are all that is needed.

Camel...my dad ordered the grll directly from GM factory through the body shop nextdoor.....living next to and knowing the people at the body shop helps alot with the price.....ive seen them from around 80-90 dollars....check out the NASSIO superstore..they carry them....but go to your local body shop and talk to them. You can get a better price there. Good Luck...the grill is so beautiful i want to hang it on my wall!

I paid 78 bucks for mine at the dealer a little over a year ago, I know what you mean about it though, its sitting in my dorm room right now, I had it on my old 9C1 (see my sig pic) but I haven't had it repainted to match the new 9C1 or had the new 9C1 repainted to match it either, so its in my dorm.

Maybe i'm goofy, but I kind of want to get a black SS grille and put it on my gold/tan car as is, i.e. Ford Police Interceptor. Any opinions on this other than the fact i'm using a Ford idea?

Sean, I almost did the same on my 91. However, when I took the grille and new fender and other stuff that I got after I hit a deer to the bodyshop, they painted the grille anyway. I didn't ask them to, they just did it. I'm glad they did now.

However, on your car, try it with just the black grille for a while, take pics and post them on here. We'll give you our thoughts on it. Then go from there.
