This is my set up. I have an Alpine cd head unit that is connected to the interior speakers (also Alpine). Fronts are 6.5 and rears are 6x9's. I have a Kenwood 800 5 channel amp that is only pushing a 10" MTX subwoofer. The other day I was washing my Navigator and listening to my sounds when all of a sudden. No more sound.

I first check all the fusses. Then pulled my dash apart to check all the wireing. Everything was connected correctly. What boggles me is on my head unit there are graphics that dance around and stuff. The clock still works on my head unit, the volume still works, (with no sound) I can adjust my treble and bass, and use the funtion keys on my head unit work. What do you all think? Blown speakers or is there a problem with my head unit. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Soundless

First thing I would do is take one of the speakers from the back and hook it to your home stereo and see if it works. But, DONT leave it hooked up for long. see if you can get some sound, if so, its not the speakers.

But, if all of your speakers went out at the same time, id say the internal amp is shot.

If they work on your home stereo, then your head unit may be toast. I would recheck the wires first. Hope this helps
