Having a problem myself with my 95 caprice. My running light come on when I turn the key also when I pull the 20 amp fuse they stay on as well just don’t have any clue how to fix it at all . But everything else works fine also clusters does go out sometimes have to smack the dash to fix that

Most people think of "running lights" as park lamps. Chevy can call them "front markers" and "park" Daytime running lights were used on Canadian market cars.

Daytime running lights are the low beams at reduced brightness without park lamps
Canadian market cars DRL will turn off when the parking brake is applied and the cluster brake warning light is on.(common switch)

USA Twilight Sentinel will operate when the TS dial is enabled and it is dark enough. Normal headlights with park lamps. Canadian TS has no darkness adjustment.
