I have a 94 roadmaster with some
Bolt ons that I am setting up for drag strip
And weekend cruiser. I have no ac, and
Now I want to get rid of heater core and
Heater hoses for weight reduction and
Engine bay cleanup. Ok so I could freeze
Plug or even loop a small hose right at
The water pump from the top to bottom
And get rid of them. But do I have to plug
The bottom of the expansion tank? It's a 94
So it has two small outlets on top and the big
One on the bottom. How do I get water in
Radiator if I plug the big outlet which T's
Into the water pump and heater core? If anyone
Has done this can you please guide me. Thanks
So much. Any help is appreciated.

Leave the small bleed lines in place

You need to run the large line off the bottom of the surge tank to the inlet hose on the water pump ( same place it goes now )

You can remove the pipe and hose that goes from the pump to restrictor to heater
Remove the hose from heater to surge tank.

So essentially you would be putting an elbow where the "T" is now.

This way the pump is always pulling at the head of water in the surge tank and any air is bleed from the engine to the tank.

This also keeps the rad cap at the lowest pressure of the system
