The front passenger seat in my wife's '92 RM Wagon doesn't work properly. The switch down on the side that controls the angle of the seatback engages the motor and the screws under the seat try to move, but something is "binding" it up. Has anyone seen this before? How do I fix it?

Help!!

I'm almost certain the motor is good. When I shove my head under the back of the seat and hit the switch, I can see the motor torque up and the two (cables?) that go to the two screws shift as they come under load. But that's all that happens. In the meantime, the seat is laying waaaay back and it very uncomfortable. I need to pull the seat out huh?
