I have a problem with my manifolds glowing. I gave it a tune up ,cut off cats, and put new injector o rings on. I was told if the car isn't running bad the injectors r not bad I changed o2 sensors, I have no idea what to check next but I don't wanna tear anything up the car runs fine all except for when idle you can smell gas very lean outside the car and sometimes in the car if the windows r down. Is there any thing someone can tell me. Can in be possible when i got the pcm tune my timing got off?

Check fuel pressure.

Also, install a stock MAF, if you can. Descreened MAF's are known to be troublesome.

so you think the maf could cause to go lean though not trying to question you all open for ideas ijust want it fixed before I go broke trying to fix it

Just depends. Sometimes with different intake combos, without the screen, turbulance can throw the maf off pretty good, and not cool the hot wires enough creating a lean condition. Hey, it couldnt hurt to try.

not sure about your glowing manifolds but the smell of gas at idle is most likely a direct result of cutting the cats out.

also bad o2's could cause the glowing red manifs, even though you changed them try switching with KNOWN working o2's
