Hey im new to these forums and i have a 95 4.3 cap and i want to convert it to dual exhuast. were can i find all the parts for this?

all you have to do is take it to a muffler shop and have them make the duels for you cost you a few bucks but its worth it.

Find some one who just put a cat-back on their 5.7, and buy his factory exhaust. It will bolt right up. I think you will have to have a couple of new rubber hangers though.

well i just want a new factory hanger for the left side and want an impalla h-pipe and impalla hi-flo cats with an aftermarket impalla cat back exhaust

Just be sure to use one l on the order form!
Impala's did not come with a h pipe from the factory though. Any cat back for an Impala will fit the 4.3. Any muffler shop can put it in. The cats are the same, your 4.3 has two of them also.
Not knocking the 4.3, but isnt that like putting a rolex on a clock radio? If you put a factory 5.7 system on it, it would certainly not be the weakest link. Hell, you could put twin turbos on it, and have flow to spare.

but i want to put in new stuff from the manifolds, like a whole impalla exhuast system with high flo cats, i think i needto buy factoy hangers for the dual exhuast from gm moter sports.

IMO, high flow cats on a 4.3 = complete waste of perfectly good money.

waste of money? how so? if it will increase a bit of performance why not? my L99 has only 50k miles and when it reaches 100k+ in a few years it will be replaced with an LT1.
So why not go for it , it would be there eventually in a few years. :rolleyes:

Peter is absolutely right on this one.

The stock cats (same on your L99 and an LT1) actually flow pretty good. And they flow BETTER than many of the so-called "high flow" aftermarket cats!

IMHO, changing out the cats for different ones on your car is gonna cost you money for exactly ZERO gain (and possibly a LOSS) in HP and torque. Spend your $$$ elsewhere.....

Because you will get zero, nada, zilch performance gain. You already have the same cats that are on the 5.7 Impala/caprice, and they are fairly high flow in there own right. The biggest restriction in the dual stock system is the mufflers, but a 4.3 just does not move enough air for that to even begin to be a factor.

aww! the romans ar crucifieng me! ok ok fine i will stick to the regular cats...for now..hehehe

but what about the hangers? how can i install the components on the drivers side?
