Just wanted to know if any one else have had a problem when installing nitrous plate pushing the Tb foward making the iac conflict with the thermostat housing. Meaning you can get one to sit flush but the other will not install correctly. If anybody have the remedy please let me know

Yep. Lots of grinding on the thermostat housing and IAC.

Eventually made it fit.

what plate and what throttle body - was thinking about getting the 58 mm plate from nitro dave's for the BBK TB, they say no issues fitting except on one specific TB - can't remember which one though ??

I have nitrous work plate with a 58mm bbk tb

I am running the 58mm BBK throttle body and the Nitro Dave's plate. Lots of grinding required to get it to fit.

Not a huge issue, but it is far from fitting out of the box.

I also have the newest "thinner" plate that gives more clearance then the original version.

It's The Summit Tb

, they say no issues fitting except on one specific TB - can't remember which one though ??


His website has a remark that it will not work with the Summit TB...Just read it a few minutes ago...
