I don't know where mine went, it's missing. Anybody got one they want to get rid of? Let me know. Thanks.

they are a pita to get off the wagons in the boneyard. I've broken more than one myself. dunno the trick to get that darn clip that's on the bottom. they keep popping off when I'm pulling them. I need two of them myself.

Mine makes a clicking sound when it reaches the top of the window while operating. The arm is hitting the rest. I thought I would take it apart some day soon and adjust it so it does not go up as far. Maybe I will leave it if you are breaking them trying to get them off... Anyone ever adjust the "swing" on one?

Weird, mine broke off last night randomly. The metal just snapped. Hate to thread jack but is there a clean way to delete the wiper? Right now I just have a nub sticking out and no arm.

It is amazing what you can do when you have the FSM - it is all there.

The shaft that the arm sits on is splined, so you just take it off the shaft and move it a spline either way and thats where it will end up. Super easy. Taking the arm off, only requires a flat blade screwdriver. There is a flat little piece of steel that is inserted like into a groove or slot, and that holds it on. That piece is hinged, so you just need to pry it back, and then you can pull the arm right off of the splined shaft.
I just replaced 2 of mine.

My wiper arm broke right at the pivot pin, where you can pivot the arm up/down. I got another one and put it on. Installed it so the wiper is right against the stop. But when I open the rear glass, it seems to put a strain on the arm, maybe that's why the first one broke. What position should the arm be, tight against the stop, or leave some space.

Got my wiper arm in the mail yesterday. Dunno why I would have thrown it away since it is kind of unusual looking. Thanks to Fred Kiehl for getting me one.
