·Did the idler arm replacement today using the GM Performance Part (Dana/Spicer made). The new part is slightly different than the OEM. Here's the question. The FSM calls for a distance from the center of the lower mounting hole to the bottom of the bracket of 59.44 mm +/-1.60 mm. You can achieve this with the OEM part, because the bracket actually threads into the bushing part, but the Dana/Spicer performance part does not thread in or out. Do you simply install as is? It's pretty easy if that's the answer.
