Im trying to swap a column from off a 95 to a 94. Is the ignition lock values programmed int othe ECM?I have all the parts to swap to the other car. I just need to know if I have to.Also, are there any significant difference between a 94 and 95 flash?

edit: Its between a 94 and 95 fleetwood

The key resistance is remembered by the anti theft module under the dash.
You would need it to keep the same key the column used.
It would be simpler though to measure the resistance of your original key, buy a new key matching that resistance and have it ground to fit the new lock.
The 95 and 94 flashes have subtle differences. Among other things the 95 flash will toss a code looking for the PWM solenoid that isn't there.
