Bill : can you have Heather RECHECK....then RECHECK AGAIN...my address and see what SHE thinks she is sending the mag to?

Original never showed up. Supposedly a replacement was sent...FIRST CLASS....on March 22nd (i.e. almost 2 WEEKS ago).

I STILL haven't seen the mag

Like I've mentioned before, I've been at the address 5+ years (including the entire time I was on the ISSCA BOD....as a FOUNDING director!) and my membership is paid up and current.

The system is broken....fix it!

I think your neighbor or your mailman loves B-Bodies so much he is stealing your magazine Ed!

I will check with Heather today to see where and when it was sent.

i spoke to Heather yesterday, very nice gal
there must be something wrong with the computer system because a letter arrived to my current home stating that my membership was about to expire this month, but my magazine never arrived to my new home, i updated my info. back in November 28th 2005, but i renewed my membership since i had Heather on the phone.

HOLY SSh!t it actually showed up today .

That said, something isn't right if the FIRST CLASS copy is taking over 2 weeks to arrive (and I still haven't seen that bulk mail copy that was mailed TWO MONTHS AGO). Previous experience is that even bulk media mail, coast to coast, isn't much longer 2 weeks normally. First class should only be 2-3 days (living on west coast, with lotsa relatives on the east coast, I get some personal experience with that ).

Is there some sorting that they need to do at ISSCA HQ before dropping off the next shipment? I know that for the USPS to do things right, you often need to "pre-sort" (via zip code) media/bulk mail before giving it to them. If that didn't happen here, it could certainly have been a contributing factor into this much-too-delayed delivery.

Let's figure out the issue so it doesn't happen again. I don't wanna be getting the next issue (which I believe mails this month?) AFTER the Indy Nationals!

Ed --- Finally got his ISSCA Magazine in California.
Ed should be one of the 1st members on this forum to recieve his Copy.

Damn, this makes no sense. I sent your email to Heather, she confirmed receipt, she double checked your address, and she confirmed re-sending.

The fact your renewal info didn't get there may be a clue, let me check will Heather again.
