as far as i know there are no ready made kits to install in a car. what exactly are you looking to do? I'm in the process os building one for my caprice. i started off with a 10.4" touch screen that came with the notebook but i decided not to mold it into the dash and to go with an in-dash vga monitor instead. the only other hard part after that is deciding how you're going to power the pc, via ac-dc inverter or dc-dc power supply. there are many other minor details that you can read about for hours at mp3car.com like shutdown controllers and voice controlled navi software. you can add a usb touch screen to any monitor, check out www.digitalww.com for some ideas, im going with the motorized 7" in-dash vga unit, i had a 7" in-dash tft from them in my last car and it was a good unit at the price i paid. good luck

Drive Soft, like the ones they use on Pimp My Ride. So many options that you can choose from.

Ok, question. This is something I've done before and plan on doing with my RM. However, one thing I hated was the fact that the dash didn't turn out to great when I did it the first time.

How are you guys going to be fitting them in the dash?

I've been trying to locate a company that will build me a custom dash so I can keep a stock lookiing feel to the car.

you will need a barebone screen then you will mold the screen in the dash so that it is one peace with some fiberglass and sand paper it will take some time to do but it can be done

I've already got the screen. It's a 7.5" TTF deal. But I know nothing about fiberglass. Plus I wanted a slightly different design that flows smoothly down to the center console.

Can this be done with fiberglass as well? How hard is it to work with?
