I have a couple of folks considering attending from here. Anyone know exactly what is scheduled for this event?

Thanks in advance!

Lance,

ISSCA's Board of Directors met this weekend in Indianapolis to take care of some VERY exciting club bizness, check out the proposed host hotel for next year's ISSCA Nationals (hosts Super Chevy and others yearly and 1 mile from the airport) and some of the venues for racing.

We should have a preliminary schedule for the Nationals out to everyone real soon. When released, it will be posted here. Currently in the mix are drag racing, autocross, road racing, car show, a big club BBQ downtown in the afternoon, city fireworks that evening with lots of things for the family to do, too.

If I may be of further service, please call on me. More announcements coming soon.

Right on.

Keep us posted, as the folks I'm referring to are not on this forum, so I'll be passing it on to them.

Kelly,

Come on, man! Are you serious?? Do you really think that I or any of the other BoD members would personally want to or expect anyone else to pay that much a night?

He asked where. He didn't ask how much.

More details will be released very soon for 2006. We've got a few minor details to settle before the formal announcement will be made with ALL pertinent info.

Give us a lil more credit, K?

FYI, I just paid $79/night for my recent stay there. The place is old school big with really nice upgrades underway. Not that I'll be watching it much, but the new large, flat screen TV's in the rooms were VERY nice (even if they were bolted to the tv stand).
