I just put a set of the Intrax drop springs on my 96 SS. I'm not sure if I like it. I think the front should be a little lower and the back a little higher. If you look at the car(not the wheels) it looks good. But if you look at the finder gap it makes it look like the rear is too low. Has anyone noticed this with the same springs? I was thinking about putting a shorter side wall on to see if that makes it look better, to me anyways.

I agree about the look the intrax springs give you. Jon now runs Intrax up front and a pair of the shortest 9C1 springs I've seen out back (I think they're about stock SS height actually). A shorter sidewall in the front is going to make the gap larger. Personally if I were you, I'd consider cutting a slight amount off of the Intrax front springs and then maybe going to a taller rear spring to lift the rear end up a bit.

I've also found, that on stock SS springs, my car with 275/40/17's has the same overall front end height as Jon's with a different fenderwell gap because he runs 255/50/17's which are taller. I put 285/40/17's on the rear of my car which lifted the whole car up a bit. I think my front end should go a bit lower still, but I like the height my rear is at. It has a very agressive stance right now.

I'm with you on that. The car is basically level but the rear does look lower. It doesn't bother me a whole lot but I did consider doing something recently to raise the rear. My idea was those rubber donut things you insert into your springs, it just seems to cheesy to me though. You know what i'm talking about? They're about 4 or 5 inches in diameter, and fit in between two sets of coils. Like I said, seems a little too cheesy though.
