I just picked up a new idler arm from Napa/UAP. I tried to get the moog K6187T part, but they said that it was no longer available. The replacement for it, (which could be a re-bagged Moog they said) is from NCP part # 268-3654.

I could not find a reference to this part number on the site.

Anyone know if this is the correct part? Am I being led down the garden path?

Later,
Brad

Chances are, NAPA gave you a line of Bovine Scatatology (BS).

But, if the arm is significantly beefier in the "joint" than the stocker, I wouldn't hesitate to install it. That's the main advantage of the Moog part : it has a lot more bearing surface area in the joint than the "screw on" stock part.

With 215 tires, I doubt you'd wear out the stock idler for a long time. Put some beefy tires up front, and things change fast :D

I already have the beefy tires taken care of. (285's  ) I will compare them and make sure there is a difference.

Thanks,
Brad
