I broke the mast on my power antenna (1994 SS) and haven’t found a replacement.

Anyone know if they are available? Or a good used antenna that I can replace? Motor is fine, could get a bad one with a good mast and make a whole one.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the help. My mast is physically broken. Motor moves it up and down fine. I have a generic power antenna but would prefer a stock antenna. If you have a dead stock antenna that the only problem is a bad motor, let me know as I am a customer.

The masts are no longer available anywhere. If you can find an antenna that does not work, you can swap the whole antenna section to your motor. The top of the mast has a finial that can be unscrewed to remove the top section from the rest of the mast. The mast can be pried off of the rubber isolators at the bottom without splitting the motor case. A donor can be installed as well.

If you find one in a junk yard, and it is down, it probably works. If the mast is straight, grab it, and use it.

To facilitate removing the antenna, unscrew the finial, and remove the broken mast before trying to remove the antenna from the fender. There is also a tool for removing the bezel nut, so you do not damage your paint or the nut itself.

PS. the above mentioned antenna does not recess into the fender. It will work, as I have seen them on cars in the JY.

The masts are not all the same. The RMW, OCC, and Caprice have different masts than the RMS and FW. The RMW, OCC, and Caprice have one more segment in the mast, and the segments are shorter. The cable with the top section has a shorter top section. I did not measure the cable against the RM and FW.
