Nope no competition. Mirror Image offers other services that Croftgate didnt have, and Christine was hammered last year.
Also several members asked for other options so by having them both available should cover everyones wants, and needs

Is croftgate going to be there this year? I messaged Christine but no reply.
Was hoping to get the car buffed up here before we left, but I waited too long and my detail guy is on vacation. Will call Mirror Image tomorrow!

For those interested in the Poker Run at Registration there will be a Sign Up Sheet, and you will be given a personal Run Card to keep track of your Card Draws at each stop. The Poker Run will leave the Host Hotel at 12 Noon, Lead Car will be Robert Wagoner (White Caprice Wagon) At each Stop right upon arrival and or departure make sure you see Robert to Draw your Card. He will record your card draw before leaving each location. At each location you will be given approximately 45 minutes for viewing, photos, and to visit the Shops Retails Stores.
Cards not draw at any stop will disqualify you from the Run. Cards are to be turned into Robert at the Last Stop where will be having Our Hendrick Helping Hands Benefit Dinner. The Poker Run Winner will be announced following the dinner.

Hey all, we are officially rained out for the the road racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway for Friday, 8/1. The forecast is terrible and we are NOT sending our members out on a high bank oval in inclement weather.
The car show is 100% ON for Saturday 8/2 at Hendrick Motorsports, rain or shine. We have an indoor facility to use so come on down!

In order to get a type of road racing jones, consider heading out to the GoPro Motorplex in the early afternoon to practice up.
At the minimum do not be tardy...be there promptly at or before 6pm for some high speed, high fun Karting.

2014 nats update
Dear ISSCA 2014 Nationals attendees;
Once again thank you for attending the 2014 ISSCA Nationals at Charlotte Motor Speedway/zMax. From the feedback, even with a big weather hiccup, you all seemed to have a great time and we consider the event another great success. We are learning and listening and getting better as we go, and I think this was our best one yet. Next year we will try and knock the cover off the ball once again!
The car show and awards ceremony using the Hendrick Media Center was a great way to wrap it up and your generosity towards ISSCA with the 50-50 raffles (thanks again Tony & SSuper SSally) and the auctioned items helps go a long way to keep the club going strong.
As everyone knows, the bad weather forced us to cancel the road course event at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The ISSCA Board is actively working (and negotiating) with the CMS staff to come to an equitable agreement on final rental costs. We were supposed to cancel by 5pm the day before, and CMS graciously allowed us to cancel at almost 9pm based on us huddling with them over the forecast. We feel we made the right decision but there were certain fixed costs that we are still negotiating with CMS about.
Once we get a final number we will calculate and announce refunds or optional event credits towards next year’s ISSCA Nationals in Bowling Green, KY from July 28-August 1, 2015.
Also, we have been sending out the goodie bags for those who didn’t attend. The shirts were a huge hit and we know some of them didn’t make it into the goodie bag. Please let us know directly if we owe you a shirt. Here’s some more good news, we are going to put in a second order for shirts. We will send out a link shortly to get those ordered. I don’t know about you but who WOULDN’T want one of those shirts as a Christmas or Hanukah gift? See artwork below. Even if you didn’t attend Nats, as long as you are an ISSCA member you can get a shirt. Stay tuned for more info.
