How many of you have become members with ISSCA??

I ask because I personally am a strong believer in this organization. On February 11 2001 they are tentively co-hosting a local car show along with one of my area sponsors at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. I would like to see a large turn out at this event because we are literally crashing the Mustang’s party. February is Mustang month at this car show and I have been working diligently to bring our side of this event together. Mustangs vs. Impalas, if you will. I have been told that I can have 70 cars enter free of charges. I would like to see all 70 of these cars be Impalas. I am also looking into getting Trophies for the Impala’s. I know a lot of you guys live to far away but that doesn’t mean you can’t participate. ISSCA still needs a logo. If you have any artistic talent now’s the time to let it show. Please refer to the link below to submit logos. And for those of you that are close enough to attend. Please RSVP me and I will start a list of those attending and make updates on the forum. ED this means you. It isn’t that far of a drive for you to come down here. Besides a lot us want to see your ride. Ohh I almost forgot. The car show organizers are trying to get the local drag race club (I forgot the name) to host a 1/8-mile event right after the car show behind Qualcomm Stadium. If you have any questions please post them. Hope to see as many of you there as possible.

RamAirImpala:

It is my understanding that Troy/NASSIO is a "parts club". Again it is also my understanding that he doesn't have much to do with events, get togeathers, or shows. ISSCA is a true "national club"; they will be organizing tours, events, seminars, and much more. Ed you can step in here and help me explain this a little further.

Just an update for the February 11th show. All is going well with the upcoming show. I am still in need of an ISSCA logo to go on the 30,000 flyers that are going to be handed out in the San Diego area. Also still need more Impala SS to attend. I have just under 20 people that have RSVPed me. Both from this forum and members of SoCalSS. Again I am allowed 70 cars to attend. I know they won't have that many Mustang showing up. I am also trying to get additional sponsorship for a Saturday night gathering for those coming down the day before the show. For a barbeque or something. In addition and at the risk of repeating myself there will be Trophies for just the Impala's that attend the event, in addition to the one that the car show officials hand out at the event.

As this Qualcomm event gets closer just let us know which gate and section of the stadium to show up at. I'm sure you will but just a reminder.

Mike in the next couple of day I will be submitting the names of people to the car show officials. When you arrive at the event all you will have to do is tell them your name and you and one guest (children are free) will be allowed to enter and directed to the area where we will be parking at the staging event. Which is why I need people to let me know if they are coming.
G
Good news everyone!! Jason Fletch of Socal Street Trends is going to be the sponsor for the Trophies. A 1st, 2nd, 3rd and best of show trophies will be awarded at the event for the Impala SS cars only. So as it stand now; All-American glass will be sponsoring the event for ISSCA and Street Trends will be sponsoring the trophies. This is shaping up to be a killer event.
G
Excellent and a BIG thanks to SoCal Street Trends!

BTW Tom, we are working on getting some kind of "workable" ISSCA logo to you in the next few days.

I have a credit card coming in the mail in about a week, I finally broke down and signed up for one. When I get it I'm becoming a member, I just asked for the free inaugural issue of the magazine.
