Come one, come all, it's SHOW TIME!

The Impala SS Club of America proudly presents the 2007 Nationals in St. Louis.

Site of such legendary events as I2K and I2K2, and also the official birth place of ISSCA, this event promises to be it's own memory making event that you don't want to miss.

Please click here to register for the 2007 ISSCA Nats, and remember that it is open to both ISSCA members and non-ISSCA members alike. All are welcome to come and see what it's all about.

Hotel info:
Holiday Inn Collinsville
Porter’s Steakhouse
1000 Eastport Plaza Dr
Collinsville, IL 62234

Phone: (618) 345-2800
Fax: (618) 345-0136

http://www.hicollinsville.com/

There is also a link on the registration web page for people to get more information about the hotel. We have rooms booked from June 14th - 17th, 2007. Not sure yet how many rooms are being set aside.

So to sum up, it's a great deal for all but ISSCA members will get a SIGNIFICANT discount. As a matter of fact, it will be cheaper to JOIN ISSCA than to go to the event as a non-member (hint hint).

More info REAL soon, but please go and register ASAP before you blow all your money on cheap Holiday gifts, hookers, and booze (I know it's too late for some of you
)!

PS - new this year - spectators are free!

T,
If you're gonna use my book, you can't complain about it. You have to pick one side of the fence and stay on it. Either you're IN for fun and games, or you're AB (All Business) in the thread.
B
Sorry, that rule isn't in your book or mine. You just made that one up out of your fly. ;) </font>[/QUOTE]

We have added additional rooms to the ISSCA block at the host hotel. We know that many of you have been trying to reserve rooms and have been told the rooms on the block are filled and you have to pay regular price for them. There are now 10 rooms blocked for Wednesday night and 20 rooms blocked for Thursday night. If you have already booked your room and was told you had to pay full price for it, please call the hotel and let them know that you would like to move them to the ISSCA block.

What days is everyone planning to get in?

I got Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night reserved.

Do the events start on Friday or Saturday?

Registration is on Friday and the events are on Saturday and Sunday. If you are competing in any of the events you will need to go through registration on Friday, even if you are already pre-registered. Due to the compressed schedule registration will not be available Saturday or Sunday.

Awesome thanks Heather.

Will sign-in be at the hotel? (for those pre-registered)

Ok, here's some frightening news. I just called to make sure I had included Wednesday in my reservation and they had NO record of my registration. I had the girl look high and low but they had nothing.

Now I am ok, they booked me in and sent me an email confirmation (which I didn't have before).

So I guess the bottom line is that you always need to double check your reservation. You never know.

Bill I guess they did not know who they were dealing with. ;) 2X ECIRS Champ!!

Still trying to work out going, just buying a new house and hoping things settle out so I can slip away for the nationals.

Nothing changing with my ImpalaSS, same-O-same-O ride.

Good to know, Bill. I'll have my wife call again and be sure since I'm pretty sure we did not get any email notification.
G
Hrmm

I'll be sure to call tonight. I got a confirmation number but no email. The guy told me I was about the last one able to reserve a room for Thursday night.
G
Yeah guys, check that out to make sure. I usually call a hotel I'm going to the week before to confirm my reservation anyway but I am glad I called.
G
Just talked to the wife. She says we have a confirmation number. Did you have one Bill?

LOL. I never write that stuff down. Even today.
G
I just called and gave them my confirmation number and they did have me in the system and knew it was for ISSCA. I think maybe they just know who BK is and they're trying to get out of it.

Erik;
Maybe I shouldn't have asked them what the policy was for melting tires in the parking lot? I also asked about the local hotel hookers (not for me, for YOUSE GUYZ) and where's the best place to score crack.

mon·ger (mnggr, mng-)
n.
1. A dealer in a specific commodity. Often used in combination: an ironmonger.

2. A person promoting something undesirable or discreditable. Often used in combination: a scandalmonger; a warmonger.

tr.v. mon·gered, mon·ger·ing, mon·gers

To peddle.
I was thinking more personal use than dealing, promoting or peddling.

On a serious note here...

I want to clarify that there are EVENTS on Friday June 15th as well as registration.

So you can't just show up WHENEVAH on Friday. Plan on being there Thursday night or early Friday.

If you can get there late Wed or early Thurs we would love to have the help and the company setting up. GO ISSCA!
G
I'm set ... Thursday to Monday. SSee you all there.
I'm thinkin' more music videos.
