Come one, come all, it's SHOW TIME!

The Impala SS Club of America proudly presents the 2007 Nationals in St. Louis.

Site of such legendary events as I2K and I2K2, and also the official birth place of ISSCA, this event promises to be it's own memory making event that you don't want to miss.

Please click here to register for the 2007 ISSCA Nats, and remember that it is open to both ISSCA members and non-ISSCA members alike. All are welcome to come and see what it's all about.

Hotel info:
Holiday Inn Collinsville
Porter’s Steakhouse
1000 Eastport Plaza Dr
Collinsville, IL 62234

Phone: (618) 345-2800
Fax: (618) 345-0136

http://www.hicollinsville.com/

There is also a link on the registration web page for people to get more information about the hotel. We have rooms booked from June 14th - 17th, 2007. Not sure yet how many rooms are being set aside.

So to sum up, it's a great deal for all but ISSCA members will get a SIGNIFICANT discount. As a matter of fact, it will be cheaper to JOIN ISSCA than to go to the event as a non-member (hint hint).

More info REAL soon, but please go and register ASAP before you blow all your money on cheap Holiday gifts, hookers, and booze (I know it's too late for some of you
)!

PS - new this year - spectators are free!

Sorry, we THOUGHT we had the events posted by date/time but we don't. I want to make sure I have the "official" version before I post it so stand by.

I CAN say there are events on Friday and Sunday morning is the awards brunch if that helps anyone plan. I highly recommend getting in Thursday and planning on leaving after about 2pm on Sunday.
G
Ok, that pretty much answers my question. I had booked Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, and didn't know if there were late events on Sunday that would make me need to reserve Sunday night.
G
WHOOPS! I SPOKE TOO SOON! HOLD THE PRESSES!

This just in from Jose:

Friday will be registration all day. Presume a 10:00 pm registration close.
Saturday:
8am at the track car show buy appointment, sound off after your car show appointment.
8:00-Noon road course practice. Early show appointment go to the folks who are going to race as well as show.
12:00 lunch. 1:00 pm till 5:00 pm road course. 9:00 pm awards at the hotel. I'm working on just having desert (around 8:00 or 8:30) at the awards so folks can go and have dinner wherever they want and be back at the hotel at 9:00pm

Sunday:
8:00 am. Test and tune for drag racer only 9:00 till noon. Autocross will be divided into 3 section the first 2 (A and B) will trade between autocross and test and tune. The 3rd group (C) that are auto cross only will run after the other autocross/drag races do.
12:00 lunch. 1:00 pm drag elims, and third group of autocross only. Trophy's after drag finishes. If I didn't do a good job of explaining it please call PM me.

Man that is going to be one action packed and crazy two days on Saturday and Sunday! I had it all wrong. Looking at this schedule I realize I may not sleep from Thursday to Sunday.

Wow - sounds like a lot of frantic tire swapping for those doing all of the racing events. I'll have my cordless impact wrench charged up for sure. It should be exciting - looking forward to it!
G
Terry, people like you and I and a bunch of others who do ALL the events are going to be busier than a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest!

I think I will bring an extra battery for my air wrench and one of those inverse power stations to plug in. Also going to need some air to change pressures up and down between events.

WOO HOO this is gonna be fun!

Holy busy two days batman.. Guess I didn't need to get in Thursday afterall.. Guess if it's early enough we can help wherever needed..
G
Registered and booked at the host motel. Girl said only fri and sat were avail at the ISSCA rates. thurs and sun were avail only at reg rates? After whining she relented and let me have all for the discount. The things I do to save a buck! I think we need to reserve a bigger block of rooms. It's early and already filling up? Lots to do to get ready. Hurry up warm weather!

As of 2/20, I only see 40 some registered. But, that's not a problem.

The main problem I have will be getting to the Nationals on time. I will not be returning from a cruise to Bermuda until Friday night the 15th. I will attempt to have my son get my car on the trailer and meet me at the Dayton, OH. airport to get to St. Louis before the road course event to defend my '06 "Race" class Championship.

Who needs sleep. It's only a six hour drive to St. Louis from here.

Last, but not least, whoever is heading up the race course event will need to give us drivers with "slicks' a couple laps to warm up the tires before the timed run. Cold slicks are dangerous.

Are refunds available, if I cant make it?
I am already registered, but last week my motor started making a loud clanking noise in the engine. Something is broke, and I may not get it fixed in time (lack of funds). Anyone know if refunds are avaialable if I notify them 7-10 days out from the start of the event?

I am trying like mad to work this out, but it may not happen! I am so bummed!!

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your car. We hope you can get it fixed and still join us in St. Louis. If not, we all understand. The cancellation policy is as follows.

If you cancel 30 days prior to the event, you will receive 100% refund.

If you cancel 7-29 days prior to the event, you will receive a refund for the competition license only. You will not receive a refund for the base fee, but will be mailed your goodie bag and t-shirt(s) after the event.

If you cancel with in 7 days prior to the event, you will not receive a refund, but will be mailed your goodie bag and t-shirt(s).

This might be a stupid question... but is registration at the Host Hotel or the Racetrack?

Thanks,
Elias

Well,
I have been waiting for the national event to be held at Gateway again since 2000. I was planning to attend but will not be able to.

However, I would like to donate some product as a prize or raffle. Bill, please give me a ring or get me in touch with Rick Mathews.

Anyways, I'll be kicking myself until the next Gateway event for not being able to make it.

You guys have a great time this weekend! It's an awesome track and Grail did an awesome job pulling off the 2000 event!

Drink and do a few burn-outs for me!!!

Thanks guys.
