Ditto for me.its very sad that more folks didn't register for the event some if us have waited all year for.but I did notice the folks that mailed in their registration was not on the list.I wonder how many more that would have made us have?Man this really bites. and I mean hard!
But thanks to all of those who worked so hard to try and pull this off.
While I completly disagree with the postponing of the event and disappointing the 50 or so who registered-------because we fell a few cars short-------realy really sucks.
But thats my rant and now I look forward to Spring of 2011

K thx... Im not worried about not getting it, in the message it said a few days so I thought maybe I got left out by accident or something...I was told thatt it will take 2-3 weeks for all monies to be returned. And that was just a few days ago.
So take a chill pill! These are good folks so they will do what they say they will do

I was also but that's what ed told me checks would be mailed.Now I'm confused. The first post in this thread says money is being refunded to our PayPal accounts?

That is correct.if you refund within 60 there is no charge.but also if you send as a gift anytime there is no charge or fees for ether party but you get no Paypal protection if something goes wrong.Sorry I missed this guys.
I think the confusion is because PayPal dings us 3% for a transaction/money transfer.
So when you guys sent in $149 to us - well ISSCA only received $144.53. So now for us to SEND you back $149 through PayPal we would have to send you $153.47 out of our meager budget.
Basically, we would lose almost $9 (or an additional $4.50) per registrant by PayPal-ing it back so I think they were looking into either getting around that fee (someone said if you refund PayPal money within 60 days there is no fee) or snail mailing a check back.
Sucks, but everyone takes a bite out of your leg when you do business on the web.
50+ people paid so that will save ISSCA almost $250 we can put towards something else if we snail mail it back.
Thanks for your patience, we are working on a very tight budget here.
