It looked like a halfassed recover, so I cut the stitching to see if he glued it on.

Nope, it was measured, cut sewn, stretched over, and stapled on.
I thought if he used a better material, something that wouldn't fade, and keep from getting sun beaten. Also was able to stretch over it instead of stapling it down, would make a nice little protective cover, an arm-rest booty!
