I just wanted to say thank you to whoever it was that had recommended the Kicker speakers. I forget who it was, but I think there were a couple guys who said they used them and loved them. Well, on your reccommendations, I went out and bought a pair of the K69 2-way 6x9's. I absolutely LOVE them!!!! They are great!!! Great sound quality and plenty of bass! You'd think I had a single 10" in the trunk with the lows these speakers are capable of!!!! :D

So I just wanted to say thanks... And pass on the recommendation...

Now... How about those square subs? Are they any good? My local shop says they play louder and cleaner than round ones. Is it a sales pitch?

I don't know if it was me or not but I always recommend kicker. They are a top notch product and they are very reliable and good for the price.

As far as the solos being louder and cleaner... you damn right. If you give them about double the wattage and double the box size they can be a hell of alot louder than the round ones and they sound good too.

But for double the price they should be.

If you love any kicker products then definatly don't be afraid of upgrading to solos when you feel its time to upgrade. Just like the comp vrs they are a great deal for the money except the solos can get 2x as loud if installed right. But if you just want to add a sub and you don't want to spend over $200 for a single sub get a kicker comp vr or 2 of em. You will be even more happy.

Glad to hear its going well. And good luck.
