Hey guys. The other day I was informed by my dads friend that the Impala SS was the most stolen car in the US. Now, i dont know if it's true, but i still want to be safe. I want to rig up some kind of kill switch. I did a search but couldnt find anything, maybe im just lazy. OH well. Anyone who can tell me how i could go about doing this, please do. Thanks a lot

Not even close.

Anyhow, check out Ebay. There is sometimes a guy on there that sells a "passive starter kill". It's basically a relay box that you hookup to the item of your choice to kill starter, or fuel pump. You then hit the magic button to re-enable the starter or fuel pump.

I had one on my Mustang years back, and had to turn on the key, hit the defrost button, then crank the engine to start. If I forgot to hit the defrost button, the car would only run for about 5 seconds then run out of fuel.

I made one for myself several months ago, but have yet to install the puppy. I sure hope I can remember what wire goes to what.
