To all the people into adjustable suspension I have a quick question. Im juicing my 95' caprice the front is done and lays crosmember, and the rear is already notched and bridged but Im having problems with my driveshaft hitting and my stock trailing arms binding on the rear crossmember. I was planning on building my own tubular trailing arms(4-link) so that i could center the wheel. But my question is If I built tubular arms will it prevent them from hitting the rear crossmember? Also should i just notch the rear crossmember for the driveshaft or just cut it out? Also has any one raised the floor or does anyone have any opinions on it? I was planning on raising the floor because my PLASTIC gas tank sit way to close for my comfort to the floor when dragging?

I'll let others reply about the suspension setup, but I'm thinking a fuel cell in the trunk would be the safest idea.

Notch the crossmember for your driveshaft. It's there for a reason. You may not have a problem with extended arms hitting, but you could go ahead and make some clearance in the crossmember for those as well.

Thanks for the advice so far but after reading my post the end of it sorta doesnt make sense. Im not talking about moving the whole floor as in a body drop only the trunk floor. I was thinking of just moving the whole trunk floor up two inches therefor moving the gas tank up two inches. Thank you in advance.

on mine(wagon) we had to notch the floor too in the rear, and make a little tunnel for the drive shaft. or you can just beat it up...

If your thinking of making a new 4-link then you could remove the factory crossmember and build one that doesnt need cut up but you will probably have to raise the floor where the rear seat is.
