I have rounds 2,3,4,5,6 posted and am still working on rounds 1 but that should be before then end of the day.

Congratulations Joe Amodea, for winning this event for the 2nd year in a row. This brings GMHTP magazine coverage and will be a victory to savor for years to come.
53 cars showed up for round 1 and I'd have to say that that is more than a ton of hot rods.

And now, even the 53 round 1 individual runs have been posted. If anyone sees a mistake or typo please tell me. I performed a brief check for errors.

Karl, is that a perfect light I see there? Man, you are good. anything below .010,and I get worried as hell I am going red...LOL

Good Job, sorry to hear about the tranny.
G
Thanks Nathan, and awe shucks on the perfect RT. That's my 1st and I'm like you, if I'm down in the low .000 (or .500 depending on the track), I get very nervous and I'll try to back off the tree by less front tire air pressure or whatever else helps.

No prob on the tranny. TH400 is ready and waiting along with Mark Williams carbon fiber drive shaft and Pro Edge torque converter.

It was kinda fun coasting to the finish line at 33mph on purpose, (note that I cleared it with the track before I ran with a known bad tranny).

Hey Karl

Not that it matters much, but on the ecirs page
u have my name down as "Karpio" instead of Karpin on the ladder tree in the quarter finals

But someone else tells me thats what they where calling my name all day

oh well, what can u do
G
hehe. fixed that. There were so many typos on the track sheet that I was transcribing from...I think it's our tech card penmanship or a fat finger typist.

Cool, Thanks! ;)

hey Karl, I see a couple of errors right off the bat...

1. You have car 57, Joe DeGuara, winning 2 rounds 1 and 2. Only one problem...Joe DeGuara wasn't even there! He was on vacation with his family! Was there a scab car 57? Hahaha.

2. For Peter Ragoussis you have the same info in the 3rd round and the 4th round...I don't think Pete cut TWO .002 lights and ran TWO 15.18's @ 87.38 in a row. I mean, he was having a day but not THAT great a day! Hahaha.
G
cool. thanks for finding that Bill. I know I didn't see Joe DeGuara but I was wondering why I had written down 57 on my round sheet, (thinking that it may have been your car I saw). Anyway that's my excuse.

I'll get that fixed in the points and I'll fix that Ragu dealie.

Yes, I still have ECIRS sticker 57 on my car from the last 2 season. Can you send me 2 blank ones? One for Old Reliable (Flambe) and one for the shiitbox?
G
yes, I need to find my ECIRS stickers. I had about 20 of them. (HAD).
Will mail them. I owe some to a few others too.

I fixed DeGuaras points and now I gotta fix the round by round.

Karl
G
who was car 57? he won 2 rounds!
G
There was no car 57. The sheet really had him as #8378 and no name given.
What I did was guess and assume that that was Joe DeGuara, (because I wrote down that #57 was in round 1, 2 and 3).
Turns out that I was wrong.
So I wonder if the people who raced that car would know the drivers name.
Bry Herter beat him in the 3rd round. Bry?
Miguel Gonzalez lost to him in the 2nd.
Mark Pagano lost to him in the 1st.

CAR 57 , WHERE ARE YOU?

Karl: I am one of the ones that needs stickers. You penned me in with my regular car number for the track - 7460. I checked my e-mail from Joe Thorn; my car number is 51.
G
Yup, Jeff and Bill, I owe you both some window stickers. Still have to find them. Havn't looked actually because my TH400 instal seems to be more fun that looking for stickers. hehe.
But really, I think I'll send you guys a free dye cut ECIRS decal too just for having to wait.

So who raced #8378 and what is his/her name?

I got ripped..I dont see my car. I see another with my ram air hood and hood pins. I guess he seen me and thought it was the same car he already done
G
dont feel bad mike they missed the real great guys......
G
I checked out all these thumbs late on Saturday at Etown. Yea, bummed that I didn't get to see a launch photo with my new vanity plate, HVY ELIM

Also, I don't think Dave the man Milcarek took these photos. I think his partner did. I never saw Dave there that day and his style is different. Dave uses 2 or 3 flashes and he is just awesome. I dont know, could be wrong.
Still it's need to see your car in these photos if it's there.
