The 88s locks are probably acting up because of the remote module. I just fixed the same symptom on my OCC by replacing the module. The drivers door on my RM doesn't work with power.
In my Oldsmobile 88 the locks will lock with power but not unlock.
Bingo, problem fixed.the relay was all rusty inside. Replaced it and they work note.thanksThe lock relay is on the A pillar behind the hood release. That should be your problem.
It's not a factoy option for any of the b-bodys to lock when you shift into park.Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but do our locks automatically lock themselves when you go into drive? Mine do not. Where should I start looking first?
It is for Buicks, that is Lock when shifting OUT of Park, Unlock when shifting to Park. It's not a factoy option for any of the b-bodys to lock when you shift into park.
Not an option for Chevy, only Buick. Most likely Caddys too.Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but do our locks automatically lock themselves when you go into drive? Mine do not. Where should I start looking first?
