My name us james, and im new to the forum, hello to everyone, i have a 1994 Impala SS and just put some 20" Rims with 255 35 R20 tires on them.

It doesnt seem to be much higher than when it had the stock 17s on it, but i was thinking of putting the Eibach Lowering Springs on it, but was worried that it might scrape inside the rear fender walls?? has anyone ever experienced a similar situation?? and what did you do?

IIRC, 255/35/20 are the same height as stockers.

That being said, your wheels backspacing dictates how they will fit when you lower the car. I think it's safe to say the most you'd experience maybe some rubbing on the sway bar on lock to lock. Maybe.

thanks a lot for all of your helpp guys, its greatly appreciated...i ijust have one more question, and please dont laugh since this is my first time dealing with any suspension work...

Say i decide to buy one of the lowering kits, whether its eibach or any of the aformetnioned brands, that comes with just the springs right?? and in whichever case do i have to buy additinal struts or get other parts? or is everything that i need in the lowering kit???

again thanks for all of the help, and i hope thats not a really dumb question..lol

First off, no, you shouldn't need anything.

Second off, DO NOT get Eibachs. I have Eibachs sittin' on 265/35/22's. Them hoes worked out alright from the beginning but then after a year or so, they sagged real bad, especially right front. The right rear tucks while the left rear does not. The car pulls to the right b/c of this and on top of that, I get more rubbing up front. If you get a good set of springs and shocks, you'll be fine.

wat would you recommend, i hear that the vogtlands are good, but i looked on the site, do they have to be cut before installation??? also i looked at the H&Rs,m definatly ruling out the eibachs after hearing that tho...so which would be better?? H&R, volgtlands?? or any other suggestions????

thanks for all a ur help again!
