I did email Lloyd Elliot, here was his response:

The TB butterfly size is the restriction.
Porting the stock TB is really useless.

It just raises more questions for me. Here is my problem, I have idling issues with the BBK, I've read up on drilling the bypass hole into it, but didn't really want to do that to a $300 part. From previous threads it seemed porting the stock one was all the rage back in the day, I don't want it to be a restriction for my setup if I just throw the stock one on to the intake.
So with all that being said, I'll just use the stock one as is and take the car to a tuner to get it worked out. Thanks everyone
