Hello guys,
I wan't to change my manual windows in my '91 super poor Caprice to power ones and I have a few questions. Does regulators are the same? Becouse I can only find motors for power windows, not regulators. Also if regulators are different does they fit from a different GM cars? I live in Poland, we have some Caprice's but parts like that are hard to find, and when they come up the price for them is killer. Another question is, if I have manual windows there is a chance that either way I'll have harness for power windows in my doors? Thanks from top for every answer :)

The electric window regulators are not the same as the manual ones. The B-body regulators only fit the B-bodies. They are compatible with the 91-96 Caprice sedan, wagon, Roadmaster wagon, and the 91-92 Olds Custom Cruiser. The fronts are also the same as the 92-96 Roadmaster sedan, and 93-96 Fleetwood.

With manual windows, you will not have the wiring for the electric windows. To upgrade to electric windows, you need the correct door panels as well. The correct door panels have removable panels for the switches. The rear door panels may be usable if they have square holes for the crank shafts. The rear window switches mount in the same location as the crank. You need the cross car harness to install the power windows. Any 91-93 B-body cross car harness with electric windows will work, and a 94-96 Caprice harness with electric windows will probably also work. 93-96 Fleetwood and 94-96 Roadmaster harnesses will not work, because they have different connectors for the switches.

What color is the interior of your car?

The one upside is that the manual window door panels are really difficult to find, and you may be able to sell them (and the regulators) for about the same as the door panels and regulators for electric windows, to recoup some of the cost.

Unless you can find a freight forwarder, the cost of shipping from the US is excessive. Some of the other members on the forum, in Europe, especially Poland, have access to freight forwarders, and you can check with them for access.

As Fred well described here, you will need quite a bit of work to convert over to power windows. Collecting up the parts needed like door bezel's with switches and the other door panel switches. The window regulators, motors, etc as well as the multitude of wiring that will need to be created.

I added other power options missing from my car like power seats and mirrors. To do this, I chose to grab the pigtails from a donor car and fabricate the harness in between while using the pigtails that I had got from the donor car.

I also remember seeing a thread on a similar topic where the member talked about keeping his manual door panels and just covering the hole with some sort of emblem.

Just keep in mind that if your forte is not doing electrical work or reading understanding electrical schematics that this mod may be beyond your skillset. The wiring involved here will be quite extensive and you also want to be sure to do this correct and avoid any electrical/fire issues. GL.

Hey! Thnaks for answers. Now I know everything. I already have a guy who will sell me all things needed from donor car, even door panels are the same color :) I was asking only to know if I can save a little bit money on it. Now I know that I just need to buy it and don't look at the expances ;)
