Can I choose my own membership # or are they ONLY assigned consecutively?

Memberships are assigned sequentially. The reasoning behind that is everyone wants to be #1 (as exemplified in the number of 'I'm the 1st' in the new forums that have just gone online) If you want a low number, go to http://www.goissca.org and sign up now. I can guarantee that the numbers will continue to climb. As to what is your membership number, we are working on getting a Membership Packet put together. One holdup has been that we got an overwhelming response to our logo contest and it is making it difficult to decide on a club logo. We hope to have that done by this weekend and then we will get membership cards printed, have official stationary, start printing club hats and shirts, etc. We have accomplished a great deal in just a few short months. hang in there with us while we sort out the final details . . I know that you will not be disappointed.

Hey WJ,
Would it be possible to skip over my sequential member number and jump to #399?
