Do you know if your lightweight bumper supports will work with the streettrends front urethane/smoothie bumpers? I ask this because to make them fit you haves to compress the shock on the stock support

the front bumper support

They look real good:D but I plan on put urethane bumpers as well so I would have to find out how to compress the shocks cuz I'm ready to order, just want everything to be right the first time and make it easy for you as well

Could one please chime in with so good info about how much you have to compress your bumper shocks to fit smoothie bumpers???

I also highly recommend the front bumper support to anyone looking to shed some serious weight hanging way out in front of the axle.
Mike's support was under 5lbs IIRC, and my stock front bumper was around 40lbs IIRC, don't remember if I weighed the shocks with it or not. Either way, 35+ lbs is a good chunk to drop! Just don't hit anything!

no, the accident will be the death of the front of your car.

so tempting :D
If you have the money, but not the time to take measurements and fab something like this up yourself, I would definitely recommend it. Lots of weight off the far front end of the car!

Plus, if you do the "behind the license plate bracket airflow hole" mod to get more air to your radiator and coolers, it sits just about perfect, where as the stock bumper blocks half the hole.

Promise not to laugh too hard? :D

I got a little bored and carried away one day. Hides under the license plate bracket real nice for daily duty, but pop the bracket off and you get some more airflow into the coolers and straight into the radiator. I mostly did it to get more air into the tranny coolers when I was running the auto, but now those are converted to power steering coolers.

I'm not sure if air rushing straight through there would affect the re-directed air rushing upward from the air dam.... but I imagine it still offers better cooling regardless.

Thinking about making a semi-scoop to funnel the air mostly towards the oil cooler for track duty.
As you can see, Mike's AL bumper holder upper is almost entirely out of the way, where a stock steel bumper would block half that hole.

AND YES, the teeth are absolutely necessary for the correct airflow pattern.

Hello Mike, how do we pay these bumpers? How long before you can ship one out?

I take paypal and can ship immediately, however, I am sorry that I can not afford to ship to Canada. They treat Canada like it's some way, far off foreign land and the cost is off the page. I can ship anywhere in the the US for you though. PM me for more info, Thanks
