So focusing on protecting my hoses until my swivel comes, I looked at the fire sleeve and the vibrant heat wraps, while looking on Amazon i found the Vibrant heat wraps(some) was available there as well. Also found this Ledaut brand, seems to have good reviews too,

Back when I had my LT1, had the same issue. Kept blowing line, either against header or control arm. Some hoses lasted months, one lasted a day lol. Got tired of it and went to an A/C shop and had these made. At the back of the compressor, he cut the stock line and fitting and pretty much hooked it up to what you see here. I had Clear Image gen 2 tri-y at the time

Well, i got my swivel yesterday and the only thing i had was a #10 45 degree angle fitting to put on and the crimp sleeve hit the frame at the motor mount area. i had gotten a 90 degree from Napa last week but all they had was one with the charge port and it hit the header while trying a different approach, so IDK, gonna fiddle with it some more and try to get another 90 degree w/o the charge port and see what happens. i put back on the manifold block that had the threads going straight out and thought about your set up where it goes through the headers. That would be the last option so, the only thing i can think of is try again for another 90 degree w/o the port or just tidy up everything, go get the cruck tagged and plated and then take it to an A/C place and see what they come up with.

Called up vintageair.com a little while ago. i told them my problems i was having, They are gonna whip up a 90 degree fitting for a #10, try to bend the 90 degree as close as they can to the female end(going to swivel) and then coming out of the 90 degree bend run the tubing an extra 4-5 inches then a male fitting. after that a short straight #10 fitting with a crimp sleeve, then my hose. i told them in that 4-5" straight tube area i would need to bend it slightly...so we'll see what they can come up with. they will get back with me on monday.
