I was piss of at my old cold air intake from last winter.. rusted to a max, even cracked.. Lately I deleted old 2 feet pipe and jacked it up at the intake, with a cofee can over it. not enought heat from it and road crap roamed inside the can.

Here is it laying on the floor

I couldnt put back the original TBI intake, blowby is making is way into it gunking the filter in low time. Caddy intake cured that.

Having lots of LT1 parts laying around from my 95, I picked up the swiss cheezed airbox and put it right into the caddy intake. now manifold and coolant hose provide nice heat to my intake. (if hose blow im doomed)

On a side it sit flush on the valve cover clearing up pcv valve, and the other side in the air; I secured it on the brake reservoir with some HD tiewrap, even if it wont budge from there to begin with. about 2" clearance from bottom abs of the intake from the manifold. it shouldnt toast up with all the vent provided by the mechanical fan and the low winter temps.

Lets hope it holds up.

Nice mod. Hope it works out for ya.

1 question:

Your sig says "air and ac delete" on the '91....but the pic shows the ac compressor sitting proudly on your engine with the belt running over it's flywheel....?

Just curious, because I'm about to do the air pump delete on my own car with the replacement pulley from Dal.

thnx and sorry to get off topic on ya. :D

Save your money on the pulley and just get a shorter belt. I deleted mine and run a shorter belt and it seems to work fine.
