I just purchased a sweet dark cherry mettalic 96 SS. Upon testing all the accessories i experienced the electric windows coming out of their guides. I had to manually manipulate the window to get it to close. Anyone else experiencing this the car has 29.5K miles on it.

Common problem, the original plastic guides are prone to breaking. It is a fairly straightforward repair, just take your time removing the door panel, (they are also known to break the clips that hold the plastic inserts on).

In the search box at the top of the forum page, type "window rollers". There are lots of threads in the archives. Here is a good one with pictures:

Don't kid yourself. The job is a pain in the butt because the door panels are a terrible design that break easily and the new rollers are hard to get on the guideposts. I have done a bunch of them. Sucks every time. Patience is the key but even then you will be cursing the engineers that made this nonsense. But once you put in the new style roller it works well. Whatever you do NEVER put back on the original type of slider.

Get you 2 packs of clips Dorman 799-130 Interior Panel Trim Retainers for GM Pack of 15, a Small pair of vise grips, a door panel clip tool and a big piece of cardboard to lay on and get the tool perfectly on the clip to prevent damage to panels. Don’t remove the armrests-just take screws out of em

Is there a multi pack of those panel retainers? I can only find them individually...

Removing the door panels is no big deal if you take your time and use the correct tool.

The fact that the plastic fasteners can be replaced is further security.

I do think the Fleetwood is a bit more difficult than the Caprice/Impala, being wood and all.

Do you have a link or part number for the new style slider?

Not sure about what? THE PART NUMBER IS DORMAN 74444. Get them from Rock Auto. It is that simple. No others are worth the effort or money. They are the same for all B-bodies. Here is a code to get 5% off: 215269006108964751. Put it in the "where did you hear about us" entry block.
