How many do you need to do the entire car? any idea?
Four days ago MWP gave you this link:

In the first page B-Body Builder lists the amount of parts, GM and aftermarket part numbers, and tools needed. Others suggest what works for them in technique and tools. I suggest you read the link.

You might want to check local suppliers as minimum shipping costs of these light small parts may make them more expensive than local purchase.

You need 12 of them to replace all of the sliders. 3 per window, unless one or more have been replaced. They are about $15 each on ebay, and $4.21 each from RA plus $7.99 shipping. Total is $57.51 plus tax for 12.

Quoting from the linked article: "Rarely does the 3rd regulator arm slider break in the lower track."

I tend to agree. Never had the 3rd one break across many B-Bodies. It does less work than the window channel sliders. So you could get away with just doing the two window channel rollers, which see the most action/abuse. In this case, 2 rollers are needed per window or 8 per car. Back in the NAISSO days, I believe the kit only came with 2 per window. I still have one of those original kits with printed instructions. :)

FWIW, I tend to get away with the job without removing the arm rest bracket (drilling the rivets). I've had a few cars where drilling was an annoying tangent because the drill bit walked off center and didn't release the rivet.

Skipping steps will limit your ability to do other steps but the minimum job goal is to replace the window track rollers and lube the track to get the windows working again. It is what it is if you are like me and have 50 other projects to complete in one weekend. I've also been able to bend/manipulate the window channel enough to get away with not drilling the window glass rivet. After you do a few you learn the shortcuts. :) Not saying this is the right choice for everybody.
