I got the TC put in and now all I do is spin the tires, put the BFG Drag radials on today and it stills spins the heck out of them. Maybe when I drop the air down to 20lbs. that will help. Any suggestions on how to launch would help. Thanks, Nat

My car hooked pretty well too with a high stall till I did the 3.42s over the weekend, now I need to learn to launch again.
You have any suspension mods? I have Airlifts and soft rear springs so I plan to play with that, and someday I will weld in the instant center brackets I got from Bostic.

Dwayne, I don't have any mods but will be putting on a front set of Qa1's in a couple of weeks. I guess we'll have to learn how to launch buy easing into the throttle. Nat

Nat...
Are you talking on the street or at the track?

Cause at the track I've had no problems hooking if the track is prepped at least OK.

3000 stall, 3.42s, BFG DRs....60' in the 1.78 to 1.92 range.

On the street...forget about it...smoke city :D :D

What Bob said.

Also, if your torque did spike significantly then you're gonna need suspension mods. New RCAs, bags, QA1s in the rear and definitely lower the air until you feel them hook better. I go as low as 15# in my ET streets or 18# in DRs if needed. The higher the air pressure the better, but if you can't hook then drop air pressure.

Thanks for the replys guys, I went to the track tonight. Best 60' time was 1.87 and the air press. was 20 lbs. The other 60' were 1.92 and 1.94. Each run I tried a diff. launch. 1-rev to 1500 and give it full throttle, 2- Idle and punch it. 3- 1500 and let it launch and the roll in the throttle. 4- 2000 and punch it. Most every time I spun the tires. Give me a few tips and I go back in a couple of weeks and try them. Here in Fl. we need some cool air, it was about 88 at 6:30 PM. I'll have the Qa1's. on the front in a few weeks maybe that will help. Thanks Nat
