Need help with choosing rims and tire size and more important the OFFSET. I have 96 ss lowered 2"+ with Hotchkiss all around 4 link in the back and adjustable links and want to get a staggered set of 22" or 24s. What offset do I need front and back to not rub. Don't want to cut the car up. Thanks in advance for your help.

Still need help with the offset. Don't want to do any cutting or trimming to fit 24s or 22s on it.

Well, on the keeping it simple approach...

If you use a tire that is the same diameter as the original and a rim that is the same width and offset as the original - Is there any reason to reinvent that wheel (pun intended)?

Well put. BUT I've lowered the car and have decided to go with 22inch rims in order to avoid cutting or trimming any part of it. So, no they will not be same size. I'd like to go aftermarket staggered 24x10 or10.5 and 22x9.

You should be able to use them if you keep the tire diameter the same as the original diameter. Your sidewall can be a maximum of 1 1/2" to 2" tall (36-48 mm). If you use springs, you need a positive camber adjustment of about 0.060". That means removing that much from each shim stack to compensate for induced negative camber. You should have the toe checked.

Thank you. I was thinking of going with the new impala replica wheels staggered. They have 22x10 and 22x10.5 and 22x9 for the front with a .5 offset and that is it. I'm worried that it will not clear the wheel wale since I've lowered it.

You may have a problem with the offset. Stock offset is +6 mm (1/4"). If the wheels are thick enough, you could have some material taken off of the mounting surface. If not thick enough you need to look for different wheels with the correct offset.

Forgive me for missing this when it was current in January.
I missed this because I normally always skip over big wheels or sound system stuff (just not my thing). However, I just now see the twin turbo set up and that does interest me!
@Adionescu : Do you own a Keith Meese twin turbo set up?
Is that car running?
I'm a little confused with the Craigslist pictures, the satin versus polished finishes, and one intercooler picture with the MPE sticker on it...

Depends on the wheel width. Up to 8.5" +6 mm for the front.
