has anybodys b-body come to a stumble after the car was at bout 190 degress?
after i shut it off to park i went back to start it up and it would stay under 1k rpms then when i would give it gas it would die on me, also herd a bang from the driver side catalytic converter. after bout a hour the car started up fine. any thoghts on this would help/

The symtoms you describe seems to point to the ignition control module. When it starts to go, sometimes it will work until heat-soaked and quit/run eradicaly until it cools off. Advance auto can test it, you may have to have them to cycle the test several times to get it hot enough to show failure. Other than that, check the fuel psi, and how's the opti? (AFAIK icm failure won't throw a code, since code 12 basicaly means no signal from icm, at least thats what i was told...)
