Not that I think it's a HUGE deal because far as I know, the only candidate ran unnoppossed (Mike Kender, who I'd have gladly voted for anyways), but I never recieved a ballot. I did however just recieve a letter reminding me to renue my membership...whenever money is involved they're all over me, but anything else...nobody seems to give a dam.

And hey, it rained a little while back, and I didn't know what to do because nodoby told me.

Mike,

An announcement was made here and to all chartered club leaders as to the date of ballots going out and deadline for their return.

If you did not receive one prior to the deadline all ya had to do was let me know.

Thanks for your interest and enthusiasm in participating. We want you to participate!!!

Gene, I missed the announcement here...oh well. Like I said it doesn't matter too much because Kender ran without an opponent, and I most likely would have voted for him even if he had an opponent...I'm glad to see all the recently appointed directors...I think these guys are going to do a lot of good for the club.

To be honest, announcing it here and to chartered clubs doesn't do squat for those members who aren't 1) active forum members and/or 2) don't belong to a chartered club. If Mike wasn't aware of it, I'm positive that there a dozens of other members in his region that were the same.

If the ISSCA wants to have informed and active members, it needs to send out a mailing, or make the announcement in the magazine for a couple of issues prior to the balloting.
